: Before gathering data from PWDs, their parents or relatives, CBR stakeholders, and PWODs, an ethical consent letter was received from the College of Education (CEDU) of UNISA and the Institutional Research Board (IRB) of Debre Tabor University. Specifically, parental consent and assent were obtained from children under eighteen. The researcher obtained consent from children in their own homes or at CBR centres who received CBR services in health and education with the support of parents and trained data collectors. Moreover, the researcher obtained permission from the CBR senior program directors to collect data from the program and the CBR personnel. Additionally, PWDs, PWODs, CBR stakeholders, and parents approved participating in the study. Lastly, discussants provided a sample of confidentiality and consent agreements for FGDs. This helped to establish trust between the researcher and the research respondents. In addition, this research was conducted by following the research guidelines of Debre Tabor University and University of South Africa (UNISA). Participation in this study is voluntary. By participating, participants acknowledge that they have been informed of the purpose, procedure, and risks or benefits involved in the research. Participants were informed free to withdraw at any time without penalty or loss of benefit. All information provided will be kept confidential and used solely for research purposes. That is, the recording of the interview and FGD and publishing did not take place without the knowledge and consent of the participants.
: Publishing consent has been obtained from the parents or legal guardians of all the children, PWDs, PWODs, CBR stakeholders, and parents included in this study. The consents obtained by these parties were fully aware of the purpose and extent of publication in mind.
