: This study analyzed secondary data from The High-Cost Disease Fund National Administrative Registry. As per national regulations (Resolution 8430 of 1993, Colombian Health Ministry) and international research guidelines (Declaration of Helsinki, Belmont Report, and CIOMS Guidelines), ethics approval and individual participant consent were not required as this research used pre-existing registry data collected under state mandate. All data were anonymized prior to analysis, with access restricted to the research team. Data handling, including collection, analysis, and reporting, followed strict confidentiality protocols. Results may only be used for approved research or academic purposes.
