: The collection of plant specimens for this study was carried out in accordance with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) relevant regulations and ethical considerations. The necessary permissions were obtained to conduct the collection of banana stalk chips biomass. Additionally, we adhered to any additional requirements imposed by local or national authorities to ensure the sustainable and responsible collection of plant specimens. This included considering environmental impact, avoiding endangered or protected species, and minimizing any potential negative effects on the local ecosystem. We confirm that all plant specimens used in this study were obtained legally and in accordance with the standard guidelines. Furthermore, the collection process did not involve the destruction of any protected or endangered plant species.
