: The study adhered to the ethical principles outlined in Jimma University's approved rules and regulations for conducting research. The Research and Ethical Review Board (RERB) of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of Jimma University comprehensively reviewed and approved the project. Upon registration, it provided a serial code of AgVmPHM/16/1. The collection of Ensete ventricosum plant parts used in this study complied with all applicable local and national guidelines. The plant materials were collected from cultivated sources with the knowledge and permission of local farmers. No wild or endangered plant materials were collected. Since the collection was conducted on private farmland, no special permits or licenses were required. Informed consent to participate was obtained from all individual participants included in the study.
