: This study proposal was approved by the Research and Ethical committee of the Department of Home Economics and Food Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria, following its presentation. The sensory evaluation was carried out in total compliance with the WMA Declaration of Helsinki. The sensory evaluators are regular consumers of chin-chin snack and all of them being above 16 years, gave their informed consent to participate in the sensory evaluation with the ability to withdraw from the study at any point in time. We also ensure compliance with the relevant institutional, national and international guidelines and legislation in the collection of the plant materials used in this study.
