: This study followed ethical standards, proper sampling permission with no humans/animals’ involvement. Three Farmers’ varieties of rice were used in this research, and there is no need of permission from any Authority of India. Plant materials were collected with permission from institute seed farm of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. The research was conducted in compliance with relevant institutional and national guidelines Distinctiveness, Uniformity and Stability On (Oryza sativa L.) SG/01/2007, under Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Authority Act 2007 (PPV & FRA), Government of India.These three rice varieties are considered as Farmers’ varieties, no need any permission to use these for research purpose.
