: The human participation for sensory analysis was in accordance to guidelines of NABL Accreditation.
: The sensory analysis protocol was approved by National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) certified agency [Fare Labs Pvt. Ltd.: ISO/IEC 17025:2017] in accordance with the [Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), India]. As per the consent letter (J.O. No. FL/FA/20042024–138), informed consent of panelists was obtained to participate in the study.
: All local and national Indian norms and regulations were followed while collecting the ‘Ra’ variety of Jamun fruits used in this research work. The fruits were collected ethically without endangering the native population or ecology, and no protected or endangered species were involved. The fruit was also classified as a species of Least Concern in 2018 by the International Union for Conservation of Nature in Red List of Threatened Species review.
