: aerial parts of wild-growing Artemisia scoparia , Seriphidium brevifolium , and Salvia yangii plants were collected from different districts of Northern Pakistan in the publicly owned land. According to local and national guidelines, no permissions were required to collect parts of these plants. The identification of collected plant samples was carried out by Dr. Abdul Nazir, the plant taxonomist at the Department of Environmental Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad campus, Abbottabad, Pakistan, and the voucher specimens ( Artemisia scoparia voucher # CUHA 10; Seriphidium brevifolium voucher # 476; Salvia yangii voucher # CUHA 223) were submitted to the herbarium of the Department of Environmental Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, Abbottabad, Pakistan.
