: The plant materials used in this study (mung bean Vigna radiata L. and chickpea Cicer arietinum L.) were procured as certified seeds from ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, India, an authorized national institute. All experimental plant materials were cultivated under controlled laboratory conditions, and no wild plant collection was involved. Therefore, no specific permits or licenses were required. The study complied with all relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines for the use of plant materials.
