Ethical approval for this research was obtained from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) of Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh (Approval No. ARP2024030, dated July 25, 2024). This committee is authorized to evaluate and approve research involving human participants, particularly in the field of zoonotic and public health-related surveys. At the time of research, additional approval from a medical or public health institute was not required under the country’s national guidelines. Informed consents were obtained from all the participants, indicating that they understood the study's goal and their rights.
