: Approval to conduct this research was received from the Bishop’s University Ethics Board on December 30th, 2023 (Protocol #102681). All procedures performed in this study involving human participants were conducted in compliance with the ethical standards of the Research Ethics Board at Bishop’s University. For further details regarding the consent process, please contact the corresponding authors, ZDF and CMH. Informed consent in this study was obtained from all individual participants and their parents included in the study. Given that participants in this study were 11–12 years old, consent was first obtained by signature from a parent and/or legal guardian in a consent form approved by the Bishop’s University Research Ethics Board. Prior to the commencement of all workshops and post-intervention interviews with participants, verbal consent was provided by the child participants. Participants were continually reminded throughout the course of the study that they were free to withdraw at any time and were never obligated to disclose information they were uncomfortable sharing.
