: We consulted the Danish National Committee on Health Research Ethics (case number 20212000-92) for formal ethical approval of the study. According to Section 14, subsection 1 of the Danish Act on Research Ethics Review of Health Research Projects (Komitéloven), only health research projects involving human biological material or clinical interventions are subject to mandatory ethical review. As this qualitative study does not fall within these categories, no approval from the Research Ethics Committee was required. The project was performed in compliance with the Danish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity and EU’s GDPR regulations. All participants provided informed consent prior to participation in accordance with ethical guidelines.
