: The Makerere University School of Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee (MakSSREC) approved the research protocol. The protocol number for this approval is [MAKSSREC 05.2024.740/AR]. The study adheres to the Helsinki Declaration, which sets ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects, including research on identifiable human material and data.
: Prior to participation, respondents were provided with comprehensive information regarding the study, including the anticipated duration (up to 40 min), their rights as participants, and guarantees of confidentiality. Participation was optional, with the provision to withdraw at any time without professional repercussions. In compliance with ethical standards, informed consent was obtained from all individuals before their participation in the study whereby, participants were expected to digitally sign the consent form before responding to the questionnaire. All data is securely saved and retained for five years.
