: This manuscript is a theoretical perspective article that provides an interpretative commentary on data collected from child participants in our previously published research studies ([ ]; under review; [ , ]). As no new data were collected from human participants for this specific article, additional ethical approval was not required. Permission to use the artwork for research dissemination was obtained from parents and their children through informed consent for all studies involved. Approval to conduct the research that eventually led to the creation of this commentary was provided by the Bishop’s University Research Ethics Board on 11/29/2022, File No. 102683.
