: The present study was based on an ethical understanding that proactively included the protection of the rights of all participants. Explicit ethics committee approval was not obtained, as this was a study of teaching methods that did not collect sensitive data or pose any risks and therefore did not require approval. However, the study was authorised by the Regional State Office for Schools and Education in Hanover. This institution works according to ethical guidelines and pays particular attention to compliance with legal regulations, protection of personal rights and data protection. In addition, the voluntary nature of the entire survey and individual questions was particularly emphasised. Any risks for the participants were thoroughly assessed in advance and minimised as far as possible.
