: As public schools in Colombia do not have institutional ethics committees, ethical approval for this study was granted by the legal representative of Santa Librada IED School in Bogotá, Colombia, where the research was conducted. In addition, the study was reviewed and approved by the school’s academic council.
: Written informed consent was obtained from the legal guardians of all participants. The guardians were fully informed about the study’s objectives, procedures, and their rights, including the voluntary nature of participation and the option to withdraw at any time without consequences. In addition, assent was obtained from the children who took part in the research.
: Specific consent for publication of data and potentially identifiable images was also obtained from the legal guardians. This included permission to use anonymized materials such as photographs, drawings, and participant contributions in academic publications. Assent for data publication was also obtained from the children.
