: Participation was voluntary, and informed consent to publish was obtained from parents and school administrators. This study being conducted overseas and in a classroom type engagement style, required that all instructional activities be aligned to the primary school curriculum in Tanzania. We also integrated this instruction with STEM robotic practices to ensure educational value beyond the scope of research. This study was carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki ethical guidelines for researchers. Teachers and students learned how to assemble and program robots in classroom settings. They responded to questions on how the experience helped them in learning math and science. Data were anonymized before analysis. Ethical approval for the study was obtained prior to embarking on the study. Three institutions were informed and were aware of the program that resulted to the generated data. The US Dept. Education reviewed the proposal of the entire program before it provided funding (P021A200013). The University of Georgia reviewed the proposal before it was submitted for funding consideration by the US Dept. of Education. Mwenge Catholic University [MWECAU] hosted the program after it reviewed and determined it was appropriate.
: Consent to participate was obtained from each participant of the program. Individuals were informed about the Robotics Program and what it consisted of. Teachers and students submitted their request to participate at MWECAU and those that were approved, participated in the building, programming, and deploying of the robots.
: Consent to publish was obtained prior to the study. Before each participant completed the survey that generated data, they had to sign that the information could be used for educational purposes.
