: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles and standards outlined in the Haramaya University Research Ethics Review Guidelines and the relevant national research ethics regulations of Ethiopia. Ethical approval for the study protocol was obtained from the Haramaya University Research Ethics Review Committee (HU-RERC) as part of the approval of the PhD research proposal; reference number RERC-22/765/16, on 1 January 2024. The research was carried out following the ethical guidelines and regulations approved by the committee. Permission letters were also secured from the participating school and relevant educational authorities. Informed verbal consent was obtained from all participants prior to participation, and confidentiality and anonymity were maintained throughout the study.
