Additionally, written permission to conduct the study was granted by the Director of Health Services, Nairobi Metropolitan Services from the Ministry of Health, Government of Kenya (REF no. EOP/NMS/MEMOS/VOL.1/CD/12) and written informed consent was obtained from all nurses and all mothers who participated in the study prior to data collection.
