: All experimental protocols were reviewed and approved by the University of Port Harcourt Research Ethics Committee, Nigeria. The study, titled The Mediation Role of the Work Environment in the Relationship Between Occupational Hygiene Practices and the Health and Safety of Waste Scavengers in Emerging Economies, was conducted in full accordance with the ethical standards outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant national and institutional guidelines and regulations.
