: The study entitled “Assessing Farmers’ Vulnerability to Floods and Landslides in Kerala using a Multidimensional Societal Vulnerability Index (SVI FL )” was reviewed and approved by the Faculty Research Committee of the Department of Agricultural Extension Education, College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), which functions as the internal ethics review body for research oversight. The study adhered to the ethical guidelines of Kerala Agricultural University and ICAR. All participants were adults, above the age of 18 years. They were clearly informed about the objectives and implications of the study, and their right to withdraw at any stage without consequences. Written informed consent, with signatures or thumb impression (in certain cases), was obtained from each participant before data collection.
