: The authors submitted the manuscript with permission from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Midlands State University. This study was conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines set by the Midlands State University Declaration. It received approval from the Midlands State University Ethics Committee. Permission to carry out the study was sought and approved by the Gweru City Council. Participants were given a detailed information sheet explaining the study’s purpose, procedures, risks and benefits. They had the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns with the research team before signing the consent form. Key informants for the interviews also signed informed consent forms. Informed consent was obtained from all participants before their involvement in the study. Participants were advised that participation was voluntary, and they could withdraw at any time without consequence.

: We affirm that informed consent for publication of images of human participants included in this study has been obtained from each individual. This consent covers the use of identifiable images in the manuscript. All reasonable measures have been taken to protect anonymity and we confirm that no identifiable information is disclosed without consent.
