: In this study, the plants Dryopteris serrato-dentata (Beddome) Hayata (Dhekishak) and BlumealaceraDc. (Shialmutra)were used and these plants were collected from the Agronomy Field Laboratory (AFL) of BAU, Bangladesh in 2022. The plant material was identified by Professor Dr. Farhana Zaman, Farm Supervisor, AFL, BAU and Professor Dr. Abdus Salam (one of the authors and Weed Scientist, Dept. of Agronomy, BAU). A voucher specimen of the tested species was deposited for future reference (Reference No.-AGRONBAU22RM-003) at Weed Herbarium, AFL, BAU.The experimental protocols were approved by the “Committee for Advanced Studies and Research (CASR)”, Bangladesh Agriculturual University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh.
