: The collections used in this study were obtained from the IPK-Gatersleben Genebank in Germany. A collection of 250 spring barley accessions was genotyped by Genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) using 19K SNPs genome. As a member of the IPK-Gatersleben Genebank, the Corresponding author (AB) is fully authorised to collect, conserve, and characterise the crop genetic resources for breeding improved varieties. All the guidelines were followed as per the IPK-Gatersleben Genebank ethics for the collection, characterisation, and documentation of landraces or germplasm accessions.
