: It is challenging and even impossible to conduct research without the willingness of the respondents and it will be unlawful as well to harass them to obtain information from them. Therefore, this study followed the necessary ethical considerations. Informed consent from the research participants was obtained. The researcher informed and explained the general purposes and objectives of the study to the research participants in an open way. Starting from the beginning of the data collection to the communication of the research findings confidentiality of respondents’ information has been kept. Respondents were given the right to quit their participation in the study whenever they felt discomfort. There is no ethics approving committee involved, as the research did not include experiments on humans or animals. The plant inventory was conducted at the farm level, following ethical standards to ensure that all respondents participated willingly and with their consent.
