: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Ethics Review Committee of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, University of Gondar (Ref. No. 16.28/2023). The study entitled “Efficacy and Safety of Diazinon and Botanical Extracts ( Tephrosia vogelii and Cissus quadrangularis ) for Flea Control in Chickens: A Factorial Study under Ethiopian Conditions” was conducted on naturally flea-infested chickens from poultry farms with the informed consent and willingness of the farm owners. All experimental procedures were reviewed and approved by the Ethics Review Committee of the University of Gondar and were carried out in accordance with ethical guidelines and published scientific literature. Animal handling and treatment were performed with due consideration to animal welfare, ensuring minimal stress and harm throughout the experimental trial.

: Informed consent was obtained from the poultry farm owners after a clear explanation of the study objectives, procedures, and potential benefits. The farmers willingly agreed to participate, as flea infestation represents a major challenge in poultry production in the study areas. Consent of farmers to use the animals for an experimental purpose was obtained at all required administrative and ethical levels before the study began. The experimental animals used in this study were naturally flea-infested chickens, and all procedures were conducted in accordance with accepted animal welfare standards. The district veterinary officers responsible for animal health in the study areas were informed prior to the commencement of the study.
