: The study received approval from National Commission for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NACOSTI) permit: license No: NACOSTI|P|25|417,983, and Ethical clearance Egerton University’s Research Ethics Committee (Approval No. EUISERC/APP/322/2024) to proceed with data collection. Further, informed consent to participate was sought after detailed verbal consent statement was read to participants. The components of the verbal informed consent were: purpose of the study, the rights of participants, the procedures involved, and potential benefits if any. The participants were informed about their voluntary participation, the confidentiality of their responses, and the ability to withdrawal from the interview at any time without compromising their potential involvements in future similar research.
