: The study protocol received approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of Uyo in August 2024, under approval number UUIRB/24/197. All participants were fully informed about the purpose of the research, and electronic consent forms were obtained before they took part. The study prioritised the confidentiality and anonymity of participants’ information, ensuring that participation was entirely voluntary. Participants could withdraw at any time without facing any consequences. Ethical considerations regarding online participation and topics related to mental health were carefully managed to minimise any potential risks. The research adhered to the principles outlined in the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and the Declaration of Helsinki.
