: The study received ethical approval from the South Ethiopia Agricultural Research Institute Ethics Committee with Approval Number SEARIRB/2025. All research procedures were conducted in compliance with the ethical guidelines and regulations of the Institute as well as the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. All sample participants provided informed consent before participating. They were informed of the study goals, confidentiality measures, and their right to withdraw at any time. Verbal consent was documented in field notes as per the IRB-approved protocol for focus group discussions and interviews.
