: This study involved non-invasive geological fieldwork and semi-structured interviews with local stakeholders (local guides, residents, and site custodians) solely for contextualizing geoheritage, site use, perceived hazards, and accessibility. All experimental protocols and interview procedures were reviewed and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Polytech Diamniadio, Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow, Dakar, Senegal. All procedures were carried out in accordance with the relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and regulations.
