Agave sisalana was cultivated at Nile University, Abuja campus garden in which the sample used for the experimental study was collected. The plant sample collection procedure complies with the recommendation of the Forest Herbarium Ibadan (FHI) Nigeria. Also, the plant material was identified by Daramola B.O. and a voucher specimen was deposited at Forest Herbarium Ibadan (FHI) Nigeria with ID FHI0061504.
