: All the authors confirm that we obtained approval from the Ethics Review Committee of Zhengzhou Children’s Hospital, Henan Provincial Children's Hospital (2024-067-001). The need for informed consent was waived by the ethics committee. This was a retrospective study performed according to relevant guidelines and regulations to report the value of cytokines on the efficacy of glucocorticoid therapy in children with MPP hospitalized at Henan Provincial Children's Hospital from May 2023 to May 2024. We collected statistical data from patient records at Henan Provincial Children's Hospital. We confirm that all experiments on humans and/or the use of human blood samples were performed according to relevant guidelines and regulations.
