: Ethical review and approval were waived for this study because this is not an experimental study but the clinical report of a spontaneously occurring case. The client-owned cat did not receive any treatment with drugs during the clinical and laboratory examinations. Therefore, there were no inherent risks that the owners needed to be aware of. Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants of this case report, including the owner of the cat.
