: The questionnaire-based study documenting human perspectives on wildlife was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Review Group of the Malabar Awareness and Rescue Centre for Wildlife (NGO). All procedures were conducted in accordance with institutional ethical standards, UNESCO’s Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights (2005), and established principles for research involving human participants.
