: The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical guidelines for animal research which was approved by the Department of Animal Science research team, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. The department of Animal Science research team comprises renowned academics and researchers who are members of Nigerian Institute of Animal Science and one of them is a member of Animal Research Ethics Committee of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. All morphometric measurements were taken using non-invasive procedure, ensuring minimal stress to the animals.
