Ethics approval and consent to participate: All procedures performed in this study were conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committees, the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its subsequent amendments, or comparable ethical standards. Accordingly, the study was approved by the Ethical and Research Review Committee of Ambo University (Ref.No.RCSTVD/0003/2022) after an evaluation of the scientific rationale and methodological soundness of the research. Before data collection commenced, animal owners were fully apprised of the study’s objectives. All blood samples were collected by trained veterinarians, in strict accordance with established regulations and guidelines governing animal husbandry and welfare. Informed consent was obtained from all human participants involved in the study.
