: The experimental work was approved by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) with IAEC No. 2020/1A-27/08/20. All the animal experiments were carried out as per the norms of CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose and Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India, New Delhi). No. 1129/bc/07/CPCSEA), under IAEC No. 2020/1A-27/08/20. Charles Foster rats of approximately 8 weeks old and weighing between 160 g and 180 g, were procured from the animal house of Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre, Patna, India.
