: The collection of bagasse fiber used in this study adhered to all applicable Nigerian and Federal university of Technology Akure guidelines for plant collection and research. The material was sourced from a reputable farm plantation in Akure, Ondo State, ensuring sustainable cultivation practices and minimizing any impact on wild populations. As the sugar fiber are readily available from its sugar cane plantation, no specific permissions or licenses were required for their collection in this context. However, this study was conducted with a strong commitment to ethical considerations and environmental responsibility. Collection methods were non-destructive, focusing on harvesting mature leaves while leaving the plants intact to support their long-term health and productivity.
