: Fresh moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera Lam.) were collected from adjoining areas in NIFTEM Thanjavur College, Tamil Nadu (located at 10.73° North longitude and 79.10° East latitude). Dr. Sankara Rao from Herbarium CES, Indian Institute of Science, validated the moringa leaves. The collection was performed with proper permission from the institute and no endangered species was involved in this study, in compliance with IUCN guidelines and relevant national legislation.
