: Trewia polycarpa was collected from Gerua (23.876479° N, 90.252295° E), a village near Jahangirnagar University in Savar, Dhaka-1342, in late April 2021, following national and institutional guidelines. The plant material was identified by Ahmed Saqee, Scientific Officer at the Bangladesh National Herbarium, and a voucher specimen (Voucher No. 87509, Trewia nudiflora , Ahmed Saqee, 24-03-2021) has been deposited in the Bangladesh National Herbarium. All collection and research activities adhered to the IUCN Policy on Research Involving Species at Risk of Extinction, and the species’ conservation status was verified through the IUCN Red List. Trewia polycarpa is not classified as threatened and is not listed in the IUCN Red List or under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) regulations.
