: In the present research study, a series of novel ( Z )- N -(2,4 dimethylphenyl)-3-(3-(((5-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl) imino) methyl)-1 H -indol-1-yl) propanamide 8a – 8e has been synthesized. This process generates newly Indole derivatives in good yield, using low-cost, readily available chemicals with simple reaction condition. Using various bacterial and fungal strains, compound 5 synthesized molecules were tested for their antimicrobial activity. Based on spectrum analysis including 1 H, 13 C, Mass and IR the structures of all synthesized molecules were verified. In tests against several strains, it was discovered that among all tested molecules, 8a exhibited a good activity against E. coli , P. aeruginosa and molecule 8e exhibited an excellent activity against A. niger , A. clavatus . Molecular docking study was conducted on synthesized compounds targeting E. coli dihydropteroate synthase using the Auto Dock method. Not applicable.
