: The base plant variety used in the study was released from Raj Mohini Devi College of Agriculture and Research Station, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India which is functioning under Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (Indira Gandhi Agriculture University), Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. The research was conducted at the same institute by the corresponding author who was working as a scientist there during the time the experiments has taken place. The corresponding author was also designated as the PI for Chhattisgarh state under the All India Coordinated Research Network (AICRN) on Potential Crops. Thus the plant materials used in the study complies with local or national guidelines with no need for further affirmation.
