: The study received ethical approval from the Research and Ethics Committee of Madda Walabu University. Before data collection began, all participants were provided with comprehensive information about the study’s objectives, procedures, potential risks, benefits, and their right to voluntarily participate or withdraw at any time without facing any consequences. Additionally, Dr. Habte Telila (the co-authors of the manuscript) identified the plant material. Voucher specimens were deposited at the teaching herbarium of Madda Walabu University.
