: This study adhered to ethical standards to protect participants throughout the sensory evaluation process. The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the ethics committee of Lovely Professional University, Punjab, before the commencement of the study. All procedures were conducted according to the guidelines provided by the Institutional guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, privacy, and welfare of participants. Informed consent was obtained from all participants before they engaged in the sensory evaluation. Each participant was provided with detailed information regarding the study’s purpose, procedures, and potential risks or benefits. They were allowed to ask questions and clarify any concerns before agreeing to participate.

: The collection of C. asiatica for this study was conducted according to ethical guidelines to ensure sustainable and responsible harvesting practices. All procedures adhered to relevant guidelines for the ethical use of plant resources. The voucher specimen was not deposited.
