: Schisandra propinqua subsp. sinensis (Oliver) R. M. K. Saunders was collected in Senapati District, Manipur following national guidelines and permission from Department of Forests, Govt. of Manipur and the Mao-Naga community. The plant material was identified by Prof. Debabrata Maity, Taxonomy and Biosystematics Laboratory, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, and a voucher specimen was deposited at Calcutta University Herbarium with ID Lokho 27336, 27337, 20155, 20156.
: The necessary permission for collection of the plant materials was obtained from Department of Forests, Govt. of Manipur and the Mao-Naga community.
