: No endangered or legally protected species were involved in this study. The seeds of Eryngium foetidum L. were obtained from an arecanut plantation maintained at a private farmhouse in Keegadi village, Tirthahalli Taluk, Shivamogga District, Karnataka, India, in accordance with local and national plant material collection guidelines, including the Guidelines on Good Field Collection Practices for Indian Medicinal Plants. We confirm that the plants are part of a personal collection cultivated on private property and were not collected from any protected forest area, wildlife sanctuary, or government-controlled land. Therefore, this study needs no further affirmations.
