: This study involved plant material of Arnebia benthamii (Wall. ex G. Don) I.M. Johnst., a Himalayan medicinal species categorized as Data Deficient by the IUCN Red List, though considered regionally threatened in parts of its natural distribution. Plant material (seeds) was collected in accordance with relevant institutional, national, and regional guidelines for biodiversity conservation. Necessary permissions for seed collection were obtained from the Regional Forest authority, district Chamoli, Uttarakhand, India. The collected seed was subsequently raised under controlled polyhouse nursery conditions in Village Pader. Permission for plant establishment and experimental use of the plant material was obtained from the Herbal Research and Development Institute (HRDI), Mandal, Gopeshwar, Uttarakhand, India.
