Fucus ceranoides Linnaeus, 1753 was collected in the Minho River estuary. The material was identified by Nuno Gomes, and a voucher specimen was deposited at Aquamuseu do Rio Minho with ID NatMIP-OPFu-0016. Egeria densa Planchon, 1849 was collected in the Minho River estuary. The plant material was identified by Nuno Gomes, and a voucher specimen was deposited at Aquamuseu do Rio Minho with ID NatMIP-TLAl-0006.
