: This study was based on data from the National Registry of Reimbursed Health Services (NRRHS) and the Maternity Module of the National Registry of Reproductive Health (NRRH), both maintained by the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic (IHIS-CR). These registries are components of the National Health Information System (NHIS), established under Act No. 372/2011 Coll. on Health Services. According to the legal framework governing the NHIS, analyses of anonymised registry data for public health and research purposes do not require informed consent or approval from an ethics committee. All data were fully anonymised before analysis, and no identifiable patient information was accessible to the investigators.
