: All experiments were performed under the UK Home Office Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 following ethical review by the University of Cambridge Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Board. This study utilised archival samples that were available from those pregnancies. This strategy was performed to maximize the output from each individual animal sacrificed for earlier studies and agrees with UK Home Office 3Rs directive related to experimental animal use.
